Adding Staff to Dropbox

By now, everyone should have access to their shared folder on dropbox.    The following page explains how to share your folder with other members on staff so they will have access to the same shared folder that you do.

It is very important you add other staff members using “Invite people to collaborate” and NOT using the “Send link” option.





When you login to dropbox, you should see the folder shared with you in your home directory.   You will be able to tell which one it is based on the ‘K1’ circle that appears on that row….


On my dropbox, this is the Urbana(2) folder.



To share with others, first click on the row to make the share button appear….



Then click on share and choose the “Invite people to collaborate” option



From the opened window, add any staff members you would like, and click  done….


All members that want to access the shared folder must have a dropbox account.
